Radiant Circuits

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, a group of channels or reservoirs for subtle energies are known as “extraordinary vessels,” “collector meridians” or “strange flows.”

In the Eden Method, they are also known as “joy generators,” “funky flows, and “glad glows.” Donna’s primary name for them is “Radiant Circuits.”

The Radiant Circuits are different from meridians in that they don’t have set pathways. Instead, they are like energetic hyperlinks that instantly leap to where they are needed.  They respond to touch, to movement and to intention more easily than the meridians.

In Donna’s thinking, these are the energies of rapture, whether physiological, psychological or spiritual.  They are "inner wells of joy" that counter negative thinking habits and support behavioral change. They contribute to vibrancy and exhilaration and can overwhelm depression, despondency and despair.

Radiant circuits can be activated through any activity that you associate with delight and abandon: sexual stimulation, dance, rhythms, exercise, feeling delighted at a gleeful baby's giggle, or appreciating natural beauty or a lovely melody.

Radiant circuits included in Chinese Medicine are:

  • central meridian

  • governing meridian

  • belt flow

  • penetrating flow

  • yin bridge

  • yang bridge

  • yin regulator

  • yang regulator

Donna also includes Triple Warmer and Spleen Meridians as having the potential to be Radiant Circuits. She says they can act in similar ways to the eight other flows, in that they can hyperlink to where they are needed and are more responsive to intention.

In the Eden Method, we use the Radiant Circuits to support and potentiate our healing methods. They are central to several protocols including the Seed Point Protocol, and several other advanced techniques. When people are struggling with depression, unwanted habits, or addictions, they are absolutely key.
