Meridian Balancing
To bring balance to meridians in the face of emotional challenges, we use a Five Elements approach, often using a gentle touch on the neurovascular points located (mostly) on the head.
In the Eden Method, we use many techniques to bring the Meridians into balance.
To quickly bring a meridian into balance so we can access its energy, we use Neurolymphatic reflex points located on the torso and legs.
Strengthening and Sedating meridians is done by holding pairs of points on the meridians where the energy can be accessed.
To strengthen or sedate, we use the flow cycle. To strengthen, we draw energy from a meridian located in the “mother” position, and to sedate, we send energy forward along the flow cycle to a meridian in the “daughter” position.
Meridian Source Points are used to send energy directly to an organ and to bring balance to the meridian whether it is over- or under- energized.
Meridians are often used when we are seeking to help a client with pain, as acute pain is often associated with overenergy in a meridian, and chronic achiness with low flow in a meridian. We use a muscle chart to determine which meridians to work with.
There are many other pain techniques.
